If I get a whole list of conditions in response, which include pain related issues with skin care and surface related issues I reply as follows.

It’s actually rare for a laser to be well suited for treating both pain, with significant penetration, and skin or surface conditions. The problem with many lasers that claim multiple uses is that they don’t deliver multiple wavelengths in both the red and infrared spectrum. The red light spectrum is for treating superficial pain, inflammation and skin related issues and the infrared light spectrum is for deeper penetration of 2-3 inches, for treating pain and musculoskeletal conditions, aids in building collagen and helps with inflammation. Super pulsed infrared lasers deliver the deepest penetration with maximum photonic energy to target tissues.

If you are only concerned about treating skin stuff and minor pain, the Vitalaser 650 would be a good choice. If you are just concerned with treating pain, both the AL500 and the TQ Solo are great, however the TQ Solo is better for deep pain and the AL500 is ideal for acupoint and auricular point therapies as well as spot pain treatment.
