TerraDent is an innovative, non-invasive device which reduces inflammation and speeds up patient recovery following dental procedures by providing a unique combination of therapy based on pulsed laser, infra-red and red light, combined with a static magnetic field.
Terra–Dent Clinic works by increasing microcirculation in the cells damaged by the dental procedure, leading to cell regeneration and a reduction in inflammation. As a direct result of this, the patient experiences much faster pain relief. In addition to the immediate benefits to the patient, treatment with Terra–Dent Clinic also prevents ongoing complications which often arise during the post-operative period due to infection resulting from the edema and other inflammatory effects.

Treatment Programs:

The user can choose between 5 programs, which have been preset for treatment of different conditions. Each program uses different pulse frequencies and has different treatment session durations, as summarized in the table below. Variation of the pulse frequencies alters the depth of penetration of the laser light.

Terra-Dent Clinic Manual Mode

In addition to the present programs, the manual mode function enables the user to vary the functions for treatment of specific illnesses. The program or manual mode is selected after the Terra-Dent Clinic unit has completed the self-test by pushing the relevant program number or personal mode button
Pushing the mode button enables the user to manually set individual treatment programs by varying:

Frequency - Number of intervals repeated during a particular session;
Treatment duration per interval – from 1 to 10 minutes;
Pulsing frequencies – 5-1000 Hz, 50 Hz, 250-1000 Hz, 1000 Hz.
Removal/addition of modules by using the “<” or “>” buttons. There is a choice of IRL (infrared laser) or IRD (infrared), from OFF -50%- 100%.

After choosing the relevant variables, press the “mode” button again, and to begin the treatment, press the “Start/Stop” button.

Duration of treatment:

Treatment can be continued once a day on each individual point for 12-15 consecutive days.
After 7 days of treatment, if no benefits have been felt, refer to the manual to see if an alternative program number has also been proscribed to the specific treatment. If necessary, change the program number and then continue with the treatment until the end of the initial course of 12-15 days.
Upon completion of a full course (12-15 days), a further course can be undertaken after a 3-day break.
Up to 10 courses a year can be completed on each individual point
